Why do I need an accurate birth time?

The Ascendant and houses depend on time and location. A small time change can change a rising sign near a boundary. If your time is unknown, Sun and planetary positions can still be explored, but the rising sign should not be treated as settled.

Why can Vedic and Western signs differ?

Tropical and Lahiri sidereal use different zodiac reference points. Choose one system consistently when comparing charts. The angular relationships between planets stay the same under a common zodiac shift.

Does compatibility predict whether a relationship will work?

No. This tool describes traditional symbolic patterns. It does not measure relationship quality or predict an outcome. Communication, safety, shared values and lived experience matter.

What does the city picker do?

It fills approximate city-centre coordinates and a standard UTC offset for a small preset list. Review the offset for the birth date, including daylight saving and historical changes. For another place, enter coordinates and the correct offset manually.
